The COAST CL40R Clamp Light, the larger of our two clamp lights, packs bold power into precision task lighting—with an impressive 3900 lumens from its Wide Angle Flood Beam. Featuring a high-strength aluminum clamp and bigger light body, this rock-solid work light attaches firmly to a wide variety of supports—from framing studs to the truck door. The clamp also doubles as a dynamic stand when rested on a flat surface. Constructed of top-grade materials, the CL40R is rated IP54 for water resistance.

The light rotates up to 360 degrees and tilts up to 115 degrees for the ultimate in lighting control. Engineered with the COAST Dual Power system, the rechargeable CL40R runs on a built-in COAST ZITHION battery or can be plugged in via USB-C connection for continuous operation. To continuously run the Clamp Light, plug the USB-C cable (included) into the Clamp Light and plug the cable into an available power source, then turn the light on. While in a continuous run, the CL40R will operate at a single setting at a reduced level. The clamp light will not charge while in continuous run mode and must be turned off to fully charge.
